UNDER THREAT was formed in Bogotá (COL) in 1997 by Nicolás Bermudez (guitars), David Bermudez (bass), Alejandro Rojas (drums) and John Perez (vocals), under the first moniker “Sculptor”, but soon switched to UNDER THREATH and released their debut album “Hipostasis” in 1999.

Around 2001 the band decided to move to US and once there released their second full length “Behind Mankind's Disguise” including a second guitarist, and some years later their high acclaimed “Deathmosphere” (HateWorks 2006). Just a few months after this release, the Bermudez brothers joined Blaze Bayley’s band and started touring worldwide, as it became a full time job UNDER THREAT was put on hold. In 2011 the band gets reunited back in their native Colombia, Nicolás took the vocal duties and as a trio they released in 2012 the video clip single “Nación por Cárcel” and the next year their fourth album “The Manifested Void” (2013).

Soon after UNDER THREAT started working on new songs meanwhile a local re-release of their second album was done. In 2016 the band returns to HateWorks to release their fifth album “The Prison Within”.
